Haywood Street Congregation

The Haywood Street Congregation invites participation by FUMC members

On the first Wednesday  of each month, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., our congregation helps prepare a meal for the homeless in downtown Asheville.  If you would like to volunteer for this important ministry, please contact Joy Moss at 777-5007 for  more information.

For the Clothing Closet, donations of clothes, tents, sleeping bags and personal care items are always needed.  This ministry primarily serves those who are living on the streets, so items like blue jeans, work pants, shorts and comfortable walking shoes are most needed.  For a list of items needed at the Downtown Welcome Table click here.
